Jepthah Terrell died in 1818 owning south-east quarter of Section 32 Township4 Range 13 (Harrison Tp. , held by patent dated 29 August 1812); north-westquarter Section 28 Township 3 Range 14 (Logan County, purchased from William Scott, 8 Feb 1817); north half of north-east quarter Section 31 Township 4 Range 13 (Harrison Tp. , held by patent dated 30 May 1817, sold south half to Matthew Terrell); south-east quarter Section 26 Township 4 Range 13 (Harrison Tp., patent assigned to heirs, 25 Sept 1820; west half held by heirs; east half by Elijah T. Davis & William Cunningham, Administrators of Jepthah to Ralph Robinson, 3 June 1822). Notice of the case was published in the County Collustrator and Mad River Courant of Champaign County and Bellefontaine Gazette of Logan County. The appraisers, John Taylor, Elijah T. Davis and William Wilson submitted their report of 15 May 1833 before Benjamin Davis Justice of the Peace on 16 May 1833. Benjamin Davis and James McIntire had been chainmen for the survey. The heirs of Jepthah Terrell: Sarah, widow, was given the dower portion; William Terrell; Matthew Terrell; Jepthah Terrell; Enoch Terrell; Mary, wife of Charles Fuson; John Terrell; Timothy Terrell;
Ruth, wife of William Connell; Sarah, wife of Adam Bailer; Josiah Terrell of
Logan County; Joseph Terrell of Logan County and Anna, wife of Dennis Moore of
Logan County. John, Timothy, Ruth Connell, Sarah Bailer, and Joseph sold
their shares to William Terrell. Enoch, Josiah and Mary Fuson sold their shares to Robert Smith of Clark County.
