I have thirteen pictures of the MULLIKEN children taken from 1899 through 1909. A group photo taken in 1909 lists: Frances Batcheldes, 12 (born about 1897); Albert Edgerton, 11 (born about 1898); Champlin Burritt, 8 (born about 1901); Donald Emerson, 6 (born about 1903); Jack/John Burritt, 3 (born about 1906). I don't know the parents names. The pictures are all addressed to "Aunty Rae" who was my grandmother, Rachel (BREARLEY) HAMPTON born 1873, she married Charles HAMPTON in 1911 in Pelham, NY where the group picture was taken in December of 1909. I would like to know if these children are related to me. Most of the middle names appear to be surnames but I haven't found any of these names in our family except EDGERTON but that was much farther back in my family. There is also a baby, Richard, no age or date, either he was born after 1909 when the picture was taken or perhaps he died young. Would love to hear from anyone with knowledge of this family and/or descendants who might like to have the pictures.

I saw your query regarding your grandmother, Rachel Brearley. It's such an unusual name, I thought I'd write. My husband's great-grandmother was Sophia Brearley, daughter of William Brearley and Alice Booth of Bury St. Mary's, Lancashire, England. They moved to Hopkinton, RI about 1877. Sophia married George Jackson in 1881. Could you be a relation?

I just read on the message board that your husband is a relative to William Brearley who came Hopkinton, RI in 1877. He would be my great uncle. My grandfather John Brearley also came from Bury, Lancashire and worked in the woolen mill in Potter Hill, Westerly, R.I. His son my father also worked in the same mill. Any information would be appreciated and look forward to hearing from you.Would be glad to send you information that I have compiled if you would like it. Joe B.

Re: MULLIKEN children photos
Hello, I was just searching for the Edgerton surname and found this thread. You mention that you have Edgertons in your family tree.
My maiden name was Edgeson, but I have found out through research that it was originally Edgerton. My great grandfather was Jesse "Church" Edgerton. Do you by chance have that Edgerton in your family tree?
Thanks
