I am trying to use the Garwood connection to get back along the Woolston family lines in Burlington County, New Jersey.

Here’s what I think I know.

Ann Woolston (born abt 1838) marries Ephraim Garwood (born abt 1825, dies 1882)). In 1880 they are living in Willingborough, Burlington Co, NJ with Ann's mother, Margaret Unknown Woolston (born about 1795). A son, Ellwood Garwood (born abt 1858) is also in residence.

I believe Ann may be the sister of my grandson’s ancestor Isaac Morgan Woolston (1826-1903). Their parents would be Charles and Margaret (or Margaretta) Woolston.

Can anyone tell me anything about Ann Woolston Garwood?

I'm going to update an old posting.

Ephraim Garwood's(1825-1882) first wife was Elizabeth Ann Hewitt. They were married in 1850 and she evidently died, before 1856, when he married Ann Woolston (1837-1904).

Ann's is indeed the sister of Isaac Morgan Woolston (1826-1903). It is information about their parents Charles and Margaret Woolston I am seaking to discover.

Ephraim and Ann had at least two children - Ellwood(1858-1915) and Viola - born about 1860.

Ellwood Garwood married Lillie Samson and had two sons -- Ellwood Samson Garwood and Hobart Allen Garwood.

In 1870 Ephraim and Ann Garwood had a Sarah Woolston (born about 1851) also living with them. I would also be interested in discovering information about Sarah.

In reflecting upon the names of the Garwood children, I do know their is a connection between the Woolston's and William Wilson Allen (1837-1913). He served in the civil war with Isaac Morgan Woolson and married his daughter, Anna Maria Woolston (1848-1917). Whether Hobart Allen Garwood's name is associated with this is unknown.

It is also possible that some of the Garwood's are unidentified in a Woolston family reunion picture I have from 1902.
