About 17 years ago my sister-in-law purchased at a yard sale a 5-year diary belonging to Arlene Virginia Wagoner-Farrell. The years are 1931-1935. She and her husband lived in Schnectady, NY. Checking the SSDI, Arlene was born 22Sep1909 and died Feb1977. Her husband Joe was born 22Sep1906 and died 26Jan1990. His last residence being Frederiksted, Saint Croix, VI. My sister-in-law would love to keep the diary, but at the same time feels it should be with a family member. If you can prove a relationship, would be glad to send it to you.

Oh my word. You have my paternal grandmother's diary! If it's been kept I would LOVE to have it. I have notes from her that would prove a link as she had very precise and distinct handwritting. She and my grandfather, Joe T Farrell lived at 2100 Dean St in Schenectady until her death. My grandfather then relocated to St. Croix where they had wintered for many years. My dad has been reminiscing about his mom lately but has significant memeory gaps due to Alzheimer's. This would've been right before/at the time she was pregnant with him. I can be reached at
