Thank you!

I've been tracking where the family farm was located, and have found it on the plat map in Garafaxa township. The land is owned by H and W McFarlane in 1877. Now it's back to searching for who the "H" is!

Again, thanks for your help!

prdeb123, do you have a copy of Timothy McFarland's obituary? He was my great grandfather and I've never seen his obit. I'm also interested in the plat map in Garafaxa. I suspect the H and W McFarlane in 1877 are Timothy's father William, and his uncle, Hugh.
Best!

I'm trying to track the marriage Annie McFarland & Richard Hewer (that is the correct spelling). I'd like to find a copy of their marriage - believe this is his 2nd marriage.

Hi, my mom's dad, my grandfather was Charles McFarlane 1871 to 1949. His parents were William and Margaret. I have photos of them that I will upload as soon as I can. I never knew my grandfather, but my parents had many fond stories to tell me. The family farm was I believe where Belwood Lake was created outside of Fergus, On. I would love to know more details. I didn't know anything about his siblings, and very little else about his extended family.
