Trying to find lineage to Peregrine White of Mayflower fame (first child born on the Mayflower in Plymouth Harbor in 1620.)

We are clear from our Great Grandmother Artemisia White back to a Rev. Nicholas White born in 1785.

According to a family chart, Nehemiah White was son of Eleazer white, son of Daniel White who was son of Peregrine White. It states Nehemiah had a son, Nicholas White, married Abigail? in 1735, died 1802 Middletown, Windsor County Vermont. Nicholas is said to have had a son Abraham, who die in Georgia, VT. Abraham married Esther Bannister Wood – they had a son, a minister Nicholas White.

The bible on the subject, silver series Mayflower Families through Five Generations, the White family edition says that Nehemiah did not have a son Nicholas.

We are trying to determine if there was a Nicholas White who died in Middletown, Windsor County Vt. in about 1802 and was he son of Nehemiah White/Rachel Curtis?

Middletown Springs is in Rutland County, Vermont, the name was changed from Middletown.

Windsor County does not have a Middletown.
However, Vermont Place Names, by Esther Munroe Swift, states that the Town of Andover in Windsor County had an area called Middletown.
