I'm trying to locate my father's relatives. I would like to find them for him, because he has recently been sick, and maybe finding them, will cheer him up. Also I would like to find them, to see where I came from. My father was a "procurator" in Poland after WWII. My grandfather (my father's father) died in WWII at Bergen-Belsen. He was a baker but also played on a lot of instruments, he was also a cab driver. His sister's name was Grazyna Jaskorzynska then her married name became Niepostyn. Her son's are Dionyzy Niepostyn, Nikander Niepostyn, and her daughter is Barbara Niepostyn. My father's uncle was a General in the Polish army, his last name is Jaskorzynski. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am interested in any information you may have on the Niepostyn line. It is a rare Polish surname, and it was the maiden name of my great grandmother.

I reaching out for help finding more out about my father's family from Poland. My grandmother Antonina Bogacaki was born in 1921 and captured while working in the farms when she was a young teenager from the Germans. The best of my knowledge by memory she was around Warsaw.
After proving she was not Jewish they put her in the work camps where she later married my grandfather Czeslaw Jaskorzynski. They had 2 boys Josef and Marian over the years and were moved numerous times. He died after a motorcycle wreck. I believe my grandfather had a brother named Stainslaw who was in the Polish army.
My grandmother and her boys were sponsored over to the US about 1952-54. When she arrived here she married Josef Slomka who passed in the 60's and then married Stefan Kopik. If you are able to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

To a researcher advantage to list the surname in the subject line.

few site for research:

You should be able to find Poland's Genealogy forum on FACEBOOK.

I would assume or presume that your ancestors' US records would have a Place of Birth.
How about a church marriage record? One wants to think there would be a place of birth.
