Hello Jerrilyn Fly,

I have been active on the Fly Family Forum for a couple of years, but have only recently tumbled to the "Boards", which is where I picked up on your posting from April of LAST year, but received just now.

I have been collecting in-family information since 1958. Some 11, 400 names in my data-base.

I have all 10 of the siblings on your grandfather's generation, but would like to get my latter-day information brought up to date to include your father's generation and yours. Do you have your RECENT fanily data, on the uncles, aunts and cousins, on the computer so that I could beg a printout from you. I will be able to reciprocate by sending you a pedigree going back about ten generations.

I saw where it looked like you were going to get help from Bonnie Flythe in New Hampshire, a delightful person and a great genealogist. We are friends and we exchange information all the time; but we part ways as regards our idea of the parentage of the three half-Cherokee pioneers to Tennessee from Northampton Co., NC. one of whom was YOUR "Rev." John Fly, Methodist Lay-Preacher and Faith Healer.

I hope to get into direct contact with you, even though a year and a half has passed since your posting.

Best Wishes,

James Whitney Fly
