Searching for any connection of the Heron family of Morpeth, England (Bridge End Morpeth to be exact) to areas outside of Morpeth.
Ralph Heron, b. 1732 in Morpeth was a shoemaker and married Margaret Allon, b. 1729 in (circa) 1760. He died in 1797.
Ralph was the son of John Heron, b. 1702 in Morpeth and Mary Heron (possibly a cousin.) They married at St. Mary's of Morpeth in 1731. He died sometime around 1778.
John was the son of Ralph Heron. Though his birthdate has not been confirmed as yet, he married in 1699. I do not know his place of birth as this is what I am searching. He had several children and of those I know: James, b. 1700, John, b. 1702, Joseph, b. 1705 and Edward, b. 1707.

Some paperwork lends a theory that the family had originated in Hexham and that Ralph's name appears in the Heron's of Chipchase family, early in the 17th century.
Another source would have me believe that the family was from Hexhamshire, where many of the shoemakers originated from.

If this rings a bell for anyone out there, please let me know. All assistance is greatly appreciated.
