I have my Grandma's photo album and have about a dozen that are lovely portraits, but are not labeled. I welcome any help in their identification. Here are some clues.

Parents were Peter Hett and Emma Gajewski from Gardena, Bottineau County. Peter Hett immigrated from Germany. He had sibilings living in Monroe County, Wisconsin. Emma was born in Prussia and lived in Wisconsin and also had other siblings there. Emma's parents lived in Alexander, McKenzie county, North Dakota.

Grandma Bertha Hett married Elmer Birkholz and lived in Grand Forks, North Dakota 1923-1982.

I welcome any clue, thoughts or comments about these pictures. I have more than this, and can send via e-mail upon your request.

I found your findagrave memorials for Elmer and Bertha and noticed another person, kmchett had also posted a family photo, so evidently has a connection to this family too. She has her email address on her profile if you wanted to contact her.

Thanks for the tip Sleuthesthedead. Yes, I know Karen Hett - we are partners and have worked together for a few years on the family tree and she did not recognize these photos.

I think they maybe friends instead of family? I was in contact with Bottineau County Historical Society today, and they agreed to look at the photos. I'm chasing a small clue - they may not be from Bottineau at all. I will be very happy to have them identified.
