Alsace, precisely where my wife's Great-Grandfather immigrated from in the late 1800's. I am working to track his movement from the East coast to the state of Ohio and specifically the Cincinnati area. His name was Gustave Ringenbach. At one time Gustave owned a shop on 4th street in Cincinnati. He married a lady named Anna (don't have last name at the moment) They by what I have found had two sons. One my wife's grandfather Gustave. Gustave Jr. married Matillda Heller,(Tillie). Gustave and Tillie had Raymond and Mary. Mary died in the 1940's after delivering a set of twin boys. She married and Edward Neckle. Raymond married Marie Vollat. Ray and Marie had three children, Ray Jr. MaryCarol and Terese. Terese and I married 21 years ago and have two sons Brandon 20 and Cameron 14. We live and work in the greater Cincinnati area.
Thank you for your response and perhaps with your aid we might find that you and Terese are very, very distant cousins, because as you stated currently you know of only 5000 people in Alsace with the name of Ringenbach. If that were only true for the Marshalls. LOL. Hope to hear from you again.
