Searching for parents of Isham Fitzgerald ( whose name was also spelled Jarrel). Born about 1765-69 in Virginia. Married Lucinda ( Lucy ) Webb in January 1790 in Franklin County, Virginia. Has anyone come across this man ? Thanks for any light you can shed on my shadowy ancestor. Elizabeth

Thanks for the reply James. I don't have a lot more information on Isham. He migrated into Kentucky and probably died there. The family began separating about the time of the Civil War and the name became Geralds in Kentucky but Jarrel/Jarrells in other regions. They were closely allied by marriage with the Webb family. Does this help any ? What did you need ?
Thanks for anything you can share.

Isham was my gggg grandfather. I found information tonight that Isham was married a second time to Mary Self, on 1/28/1802 in Orange, Va. Isham and Mary had a daughter named Polly, b. 10/10/1809, d. in Clinton Mo. Polly married Abner J. Jackson s/p Ezekiel and Delila Jackson. I don'tt know if this will help, but it sure seems to have gone in a different direction.

I am also interested in the Fitzgerald line. I think William Richard married Eloiza Ann Fitzgerald , daughter of John H Fitzgerald and Francis Davis. I would like some info on her siblings. I think one of her sisters married Ellison Munday. He was my grandfather's grandfather. MY grandfather also married a Gerald(Fitzgerald). Lots of Fitzgeralds are buried in Bethleham Cem. in Monroe Co. Ky.

Ellison Monday born May 10, 1876 to John V. Munday & Hattie Steel married Della Geralds.

John & Hattie Monday are my daughters G.G.G.G.Grandparents.
I think the parents of John are Elison Monday & Francis Davis. & I believe the parents of Hattie Steele to be Sammie Steele & Almeter Spears. Do you have any information about this family that you would be willing to share?

Thank you in advance! Amy Price

My husbands Dad William "Bill" Monday is the brother to Elison Monday that married Della Geralds. Their Dad was John Vincent Monday who was married to Hettie Francis Steele. John Vincents parents were Elison Monday and Evaline Fitzgerald. Evalines parents were John Fitzgerald and Frances Lewis Davis. I am very interested in any information anyone has. I have pictures of many of the family including John and Hettie Monday.
