I would like to know what information you
have on Crims. I have traced my own line
in Northern Va (Shenandoah Frederick
counties) and West Virginia (Berkeley
Jefferson Counties) back to Mid 1700's. I
think that they came from Pennsylvania and
do know that in the 1810 census their names
were spelled Krim.

Thanks !

My ancestors came from the Clarksburg, West Virginia. My grandfather was Alonozo and he had brothers Creed and Ferd. My grandfather changed the spelling of our name to Crimm. In Germany it was spelled Krim and when they firsted arrived in the US they spelled it Grim. I am particularly looking for ancestors of my grandfathers brothers. I believe there are some in the Salem, WV area.
