Hello! I know this is 4 years after your request for information on Charlotte Catling Noble. If you are still interested, I have quite a lot of information on her and her family. She is my ggg grandmother. I'm descended from her and Daniel Noble's son Richard who emigrated to the US in the 1860s. In all, 4 Nobles and 3 Catlings emigrated and all settled in the same area of upstate New York between 1860 and 1895. The Catlings who emigrated were Charlotte's brother James's sons. He lived in Kenninghall Norfolk.

Here's my email: marnie1@q.com. I am in the process of uploading my tree to Ancestry. I'd love to stay in touch with you and exchange info. I'd be happy to share what I know of the Nobles and Catlings that came to America. A hearty lot they were!! And I must share one little tidbit: James Catling (Charlotte's brother) became a widower with children and married Mary Anne Fisk. She had a 3 year old son named Herbert A. Fisk. Father unknown. Herbert also emigrated with his half-brothers from James's 1st marriage. In New York, he met Richard Noble's daughter Nellie and they got married. James was not his real father, but he took the Catling name when he emigrated. I am his great grandaughter! But I'm also a descendent of Charlotte's! Interesting stuff. Hope to hear from you through my email.

I am new to ancestry.com and I would love to find out more about my family which is the same as both of yours. I am the great-great granddaughter of Herbert Fisk Catlin(g. Would love to learn more from that side and I also have a good bit to add from Herbert's son, Lewis E Catlin's, branch as he was my great grandfather. I just discovered that we aren't really Catlin's but Fisk's, what a shocker!

George Caitlin is my grandfather, so this has been really interesting. My family had told me about how his mother had died when he was young, and his father couldn't take care of all the children so he had separated them and sent them to work and live in people's homes. Please feel free to email me to stay in touch. I am just starting my journey. Rachaelalicia@gmail.com
