I'am helping a male adoptee search for his family. His adoptive parents have passed and left him no clues. He was adopted in dec of 1956. His adopted mom was from germany and his adoptive father was in the army. His birth certificate i believe is all false. I have pictures that I can send to you if this might be a connection. Thanks susan.

I have a picture of my fathers German Girlfriend & their baby. His son was born sometime in 1956 in Germany. His girlfriends name was Hilda, I don't know her last name. I have a picture of Hilda & the baby (boy), Hilda & her Mom (I think), & Hilda & my Dad. Email me @ greggelliott12@verizon.net if you want to compare. Thanks!

Colleen, is it possible that the baby boys mother was Helga not Hilga? From what I can tell birth mother was living in Mainz, Germany at time of baby boys birth.

My father was adopted when he was 6 days old my military parents. His name was Karl...not sure of birth last name..adopted last name was Zwilling. He was the youngest of I believe 7. I do not know much more than this...he died back in 97 and I have been looking for over 10 years to try and find some of my paternal side of my family.

Does anyone have any other ideas I could try? I posted several times on this site and I get no replies at all....I dont know who to ask or what to do....I know Im getting close to just having to forget about it, but Ive got 6+ aunts and uncles and a ton of cousins(i hope) that I know nothing about. Would also like to know if my paternal grandparents are even around anymore. Ill try again, one more time....if anyone can give me any help it would be great. My father, Karl Zwilling(not birth name) was adopted by John(US Army at the time) & Irene Zwilling in 1956 in Stuttgart(sp) 6 days after my father was born. Youngest of 6 or 7. Mother was young from what I remember being told. He(my dad) apparently found a biological brother 20+ years ago in Seattle, Washington who at the time was working for the Seattle Police Department, not sure if he is still there...and I do not know his name. John d. 1985, Karl d. 1997 and Irene d.2003 I did find some family on here several years back on my dads & Irenes side, even though they are not biological, it was amazing to find some extended family....so again, Ive been trying to figure out what to do for over 10 years and it hurts....I just need a starting point, some kind of a sign that I have some family out there....thanks for taking the time to read this
