Hi Brian, have you checked http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/ ? I do not find that name registered in 1873, but I do find an Elizabeth born 1874. You can limit your search by baptism. Please note that when you search on a name, it could also be stored as a parent, sponsor, witness. I don't find the marriage record however. Did they remain in Ireland?

I also have Kerry Fitzmaurice roots, but my ancestors left in the 1850s and came to Ohio, USA.

Hi Brian,
You're in luck! There is more info available online free today than even just a couple of years ago. A few quick searches found her. The marriage of Elizabeth (Bessie) Fitzmaurice of Beenreagh and Denis Griffin of Banemore was on 9 February, 1901 at St. Brendans Roman Catholic Church in Ardfert, Tralee, Kerry co. The parish priest was Denis O'Donoghue and the witnesses were William O'Connor and John Carmody. The father of Elizabeth was Michael Fitzmaurice- farmer- residence Beenreagh, and the father of Denis was Thomas Griffin- deceased. There is also a birth record for Bessy Fitzmaurice, 15 June 1871 Beenreagh, parents Michael Fitzmaurice and Mary Munchane? You can print a copy of these record by going to the Irish genealogy website at : civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp . Just follow the instruction when you get there and then search for Elizabeth Fitzmaurice between 1860 and 1920 you will then find her. There is also a baptism record for her: microfilm #04272/04 : Elizabeth Fitzmaurice, born 4 June 1871, baptized 10 June 1871 at Ardfert. parents Michael Fitzmaurice and Ellen Meekune of Beenreagh, sponsors Francis Fitzmaurice and Catherine Lynch. You can print out a copy of this record at the National Library of Ireland at: registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls00634234#page/122/mode/1up . I hope this helps!
Good luck,
Bernie FitzMaurice

Hi Brian,
I am not familiar with Beenreagh. It is possible that I misread the handwriting. I did google the name and found a few things.
1) A townland in Cork county.
2) A mountain in Kerry county near Glenbeigh (Glencar).
3) A reference in the 1823 tithe applotment books to Beenreagh, Ardfert parish, Kerry county. 2 families names were listed, Stack and Shanahan. Both of these families I have noted as being connected to some Fitzmaurice lines.
4) A notice in the Kerryman newspaper dated 12 November 2016 on the passing of Julia Fitzmaurice (nee' Roche) of Beenreagh, Abbeydorney. Abbeydorney is next to Ardfert. Perhaps the border of the parish has shifted over time. If there is an obituary for this Julia Fitzmaurice you may find that she is a relative of yours?
That is all that I have found so far.
Good luck,
Bernie
