According to my grand father Jacob Dominic(k)'s WW1 draft card, he immigrated to the US in 1906. Lived in Munising, Mi. Am not able to find any information on immigration. Herd one time maybe from Canada? He was from Lesmcz, Hungary, and listed nationality as Slovakian/Polish. Can anyone please help me try to find family he immigrated with, was told cousins. Jud Baker

I looked for a voyage dated 1906.

Arrived: New York 6 Feb 1906
Departed: Hamburg

Jacob Domenick Aged 34 Polish
Marlin Domenick Aged 19

They are bracketed together and it says what looks like "Cousins". They are going to Chicago. Difficult to make out the address they are going to. It looks like Jusef and his surname is impossible to read, but there is something like "lile" or "lich" at the end of the surname. The address is 48th Street 132(?) Chicago.

I am not sure about the person Jacob was with. It looks like Marlin.

There is a Census for 1910, but I am not sure if it is Jacob, because the date doesn't fit in with the date on the above ship, and neither does the date he arrived in USA.....

Census 1910
Name: Jacob Dominich
Age: 28
Born: Hungary
Address: Boyne Ward 4, Charlevoix, Michigan.
Beamer Tannery
I noticed a Judes Becker, also on the "Blucher" but arriving New York a year later on 23 Jan 1907. He (or she) was aged 16 Born 1891 Eprisek. Judes was going to: Father, Aron Becker 125 Madison St, New York. Hebrew.
