am just returning to my family history research after BOULTON/BOLTON

am just returning to my family history research after a long absence. I would like to continue with my family tree research for BOULTON

I would like ascendant/descendant information about William Boulton, born in Oaksev, Wiltshire, England, died in England, who married Sarah Skilling, born and died in England. They married on 22 November, 1763 in Oaksey, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England and had a child Robert Bolton (1772-1837).

It is my ultimate aim to have a worldwide family tree for all people of the BOULTON name. I would appreciate any family tree information from anyone in the world who shares this same name within their families as I hope to make connections with them all.

If anyone wishes to send me information, either a Gedcom or a file attached to an email would be very welcome. I would be quite happy to send anyone who requests it all the information I have in return. I run Legacy 6 as a genealogy programme on my computer.

Thanks for your assistance, everyone. .

Hi I have been working on my family tree (I was a born a Boulton). I don't have much on my Boulton side and am hoping to find connections. My grandfather was John Arthur James Boulton born 14 May 1890 in Lincolnshire. He immigrated to Canada alone when he was about 15 (the family tradition is that it was to avoid arrest). all I know is his father was a doctor, and is listed as WTL Boulton. (William Thomas?) I don't know his mother. James married Nora Moony De Courcy O'Grady in Victoria, BC Feb 23 1927. They had one child (my Father) John William Boulton. Nora died shortly after he was born and James never remarried. He died 1983 In BC, Canada. I once met a cousin of my father when I was in Europe, she was living in Wales, but I don't remember her name. She told me that her family used to call my grand-father 'wild jack'.
perhaps this is a long shot, but if you have a connection, could you send me a msg?

Hi, I am looking for information on the de Courcy O'Grady line. Do you have any information on that family?
Thanks,
Alisandra

My family (Boulton) lived in Oaksey, Wiltshire for several generations. I believe Robert Boulton (Bolton)1772 - 1837 was sentenced to death for stealing a "fat ewe sheep" but the sentence was commuted to transportation to New South Wales. Old Bob was a distant great uncle of mine. I would be happy to give you access to my family tree via Ancestry if you give me your e-mail address.

Best wishes

My Grandmother was a Boulton and we have so far traces but to a George Boulton born in 1772 in Surrey. I have no idea where all the places are in England. I keep a map beside the computer to find them, or I ring my Grandmother as I have never there. We live in Australia. would love to share information and see if we connect somewhere along the line.

Thanks for the message. No our family originated from Market Drayton in Shropshire and although we have one or two "missing" members of the Boulton family I don't think any went to your part of the States.

Kind Regards
