I am part of the family of Wrights who came to Canada in 1795 Philamen Wright and Booker Wright were brothers of the grandfather of Orville and Wilbur Wright. Booker Wright my direct ancestor died in an equestrian accident not long after they settled in the Hull Quebec area. There is a book written by one of the decendants of Philamen. She has traced the family tree from Deacon John and Elizabeth Wright who came to the U.S in approximately 1590. Word has it that they came to escape the witch hunts in jolly old England.

According to family stories John Wright my grandfather married Minnie Shields and suppose to be a possible 3rd cousin to the Wright brothers. His mother's name was Ida and they lived in Durango,Co.about 1906,1907 where my mother Jessie Wright was born in 1907. When Mother was four years old , they moved to San Francisco for a few years where my grandfather put together a kit of an airplane to give rides on the beach for money. Trying to trace his family. Think he might by related through one of the brothers of Daniel ar Bishop Milton Wright. Any information appreciated.
