Hi

I don't know a lot about my father or his family but I do know that his name was David Lovelock, he was from Kent. I'm not sure exactly where in kent, he live there until the late 1970's. At some point in the 80's he changed his name from Lovelock to Richards. I don't know if this is of any use or interest but I thought I'd post it anyway.

Dear Ruth, I am the daughter of Walter Alexander Lovelock. His father was William Lovelock, son of Charles and Victoria. I did'nt know that my great uncle Fred and aunt (Margret) had a daughter Ruth. I thought there was just a son John. I am so thrilled to hear from you. I can fill in alot of information for you. Lets keep in touch.

Hello Florence and Ruth

I have stumbled across your messages entirely by accident today and hesitated a little before plunging in. Although a Lovelock I am not related to your family as far as I know.

I wonder if you have yet discovered the Lovelock Family History website? If you have you might have noticed that an update of the Tonbridge, Kent tree was posted in early July. Whilst I was doing some of the research for that update I came across Census and BMD entries for the Margate family, and put together as much of a family tree as I could with the information. It's only a 'Word' document at the moment, but if you think it might contain any information that you have not yet tracked down I would be happy to send you a copy.

I was hoping that it would eventually find its way on to the website, but that wouldn't be for a while yet as there's a bit of a backlog at present.

Regards
