Thankyou very much. I find it but now cant find any birth for either of them or find them in the census thought it would get easier as soon as got back to 1911. Is anyone researching this family?

Edward's WW1 record, which gives his next of kin as wife Lilian Elizabeth, confirms him as being born in 1891. It is therefore highly probable that this is his birth:

Births Dec 1891
Howton Edward George Edmonton 3a 264

In 1911, he is an "indoor servant" for a stockbroker in Broxbourne, Herts (RG14 piece 7466 schedule no 53). His name has been mistranscribed as "Hawton".

In 1901, he is with his parents and siblings in West Ham (RG13 Piece 1564 Folio: 10)

Lilian was a bit trickier. I have found her in 1911, living with her married sister, Florence Rainbird (nee Mann) (RG14 Piece: 10237 Schedule Number: 46).

Based on the place of birth given for her in 1911, I think she is probably the one at RG13 Piece: 1696 Folio: 85 in 1901. Here is her likely birth:

Births Mar 1890
Mann Lily Elizabeth Tendring 4a 534

All the above is little more than an educated guess, though. You should get Edward and Lilian/Lily's marriage certificate (£9.25 direct from the GRO via www.gro.gov.uk) to establish their ages and fathers' names before going any further.
