My husband, from Lewisburg, TN, was from the
Kerr/Eldridge family. He was also related to
the Bryants of Bryant Station in Maury Cnty.
We do not have much info but would gladly
exchange what we have.

You and I are from the same James and Mary Polly Thomas Luna. I am also from the Bryants intermarried in these families.

Jane,
I only know about my Greatgrandfather Robert Breeks Looney and my Greatgrandmother Caledonia Luna Looney. You placed a D as her middle initial. I did not even know this. Who are James and Mary Luna? Where do they come from? I am the only one in my family that has married into the Bryant family that I am aware of.

Please give more information to me so that I may better understand our correspondence.

Thank you,

Bonnie Looney Bryant

In 1989 Mrs Jane C. Luna and I had printed the 500-plus pages book The Descendants of Peter Luna of Marshall Co., Tenn. Caladonia is a great granddau of this Peter and is on page 72 with information on herself and her family. The D. was probably put as a middle initial because of the "d" in Cala"d"onia. I have found several people with that name who have ended up as Callie D. whatever.

I just wanted to say 'thank you' for a wonderful book! If you or Jane plan on any updates, I will be more than happy to help with the Nora Tennessee Luna/Perry Claudie Jones descendants. These were my great grandparents.

Also, I had the pleasure of going and seeing Peter Luna's grave a few years back. The DAR marker is still there. The person who owns the cow pasture where Peter's grave is located says many people come to visit. I'm certain that Peter would be happy to know that his descendants are still looking for him, even in the 21st century!

My ggggrandmother was Elizabeth Luna b. 10/10/1781 in Tennessee, m. Thomas Bragg 11/9/1800, d. 8/21/1841 in New Market, Alabama - her son was Looney (Luna) Wiley Bragg. Is there any information about her in your book?

Mildred,
I have some information on the Luna family but I have nothing on your names. Will you share your information with me.
I will share what I have if any.

Thanks
