I am very curious about the typewritten genealogy you mentioned nearly three years ago...The 1860 US Federal Census lists Eli Northum, 48, in Town of Menasha, Winnebago County, Wisconsin, along with Barthena Northum, 47, and Wesley, Simon, Wilson, and Vincent, all born in New York. My family may be related to Wilson, but I need more information. Is there anything else? How did you happen upon this information?

Looking for Edward Northan (Meadville, PA) who married Nancy Hamilton (est. early 1800's) had Albert, Ann, John Henry.
Ann married Harry Bartlet, John married a Lockahrt and Henry married Minnie.
Do you have any of these?
Isn't this fun trying to match the dots!!!!

I haven't found anyone named Edward in this Eli Northam line, and as far as I can tell, they never spent any time in Pennsylvania--straight from New York to Wisconsin, it seems. But I'm still trying to find Eli's ancestors, so you never know...Keep looking and good luck!

I just read your message of Jan. 2001 and wondered which Northam was your mother? My Great Grandmother was Hessie Northam Mendenhall and I and a fellow researcher have taken the line back several generations. Looking forward to hearing from you with your mom's name and her parents if you have them. jwhitney@pacifier.com Thanks Joan
