I have a friend who is heavily into Manning, mainly in mid-Norfolk (Rougham) but is interested in all entries of Manning. He may well be able to help. Can you send me your address and I will get him to reply to you by post. I don't think he has email.

If you do not want to give me your address I will try from this end to see what he has that could be of use.

I am in Norfolk!

I was reading on the Manning name when I came across your message that you a friend who is interested in the Manning name. I wondered if I could get ahold of him. I'm trying to find a Peter Manning. His wifes name was Babe. They had a daughter Mary Gerturde, born August 29, 1863/66 , in Kilbricken, Ireland. I know that Mary settled in the US. In the Erie, Pennsylvania area. I don't know if Peter and Babe came to the US.
I'm sure her maiden name was Manning, because it's written that way on her marriage certificate, both the public record and the chruch record, but on her death certificate in says her fathers name is Mannion. As we all know someone else gives the information on those.
I would appreciate any help.
Thank you Karen Fish
