While still in Germany, she married Martin Diethrich born on 11 Oct 1804 in Schweighoffen, Bavaria, Germany and died 14 Sept 1848 in Pittsburgh, PA. They had the children John, Martin, Elizabeth, Jacob, Michael, Catherine, Louis, Louis, Frances, John Joseph. My grandfathers' name was Charles Link, he
had a brother named William and other siblings, he passed on in 1983. But I always
wondered if my brother and I have any other
family...he lived in Phila. Pa, and was
married to Emily (Briar). Please let me know
if you could tell me about his family. My grandfather wasn't too close to his family since he left home at a young age. I believe that a couple of his siblings were half siblings...due to his father remarrying. Please e-mail me. Thanks.

I don't know if this is what you are looking for but this is what I have. William Mathias Link and Michael Dixon Link came west in 1870 from PA they were British Loyalists and were ran out of PA by rebellious Americans. they went into Ontario Canada and fought against the Americans in a losing cause. then came to Oregon and took up homesteads. Near ST Helen's Oregon.

Hi: I'm doing research about my real father, William Eugene Link, born in Ohio, 03 July 1897, passed away in Los Angeles 13 December 1949, Parents: William Link and Willette Charters. I'm 66 but always curious about my father and now grown children and grandchildren also curious. Any help here; my mother (also passed on) told me various stories, but as time went on, she wasn't too clear about some details. So thank you for any information and for taking the time to respond

Hi: I've been researching my biological father, William E.
Link. I'm 66 and the information I found was a William E.
Link born in 1897 and passed away in 1949. He lived in
Los Angeles, California. I don't know if this is the
same "Link" you are referring to, but I am curious as well.
Please email me to: eugenee@pacbell.net. Thank you for
your time. P.S. His middle name was Eugene; born in Ohio,
performed on stage and screen. Hope this helps both of us.
