I have family information regarding William Sawyer, married to Abigail Lilley or Lilly.
William Born 1665, Newbury, MA. His fathers name was Samual Sawyer, born 1646 and mothers name Mary Emery. Samual was the son of William Sawyer, born 1613in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England and he was married to Ruth Bitfield.
There is some confusion on the birth date for William of 1665 or 1655. I have two different dates. I think 65 is more correct.
Hope this is of some help.

Carol, It sounds like you have been at this project for some time. I just got started a few months ago and am still trying to find my way around. I have another source that I will check into regarding the lost William.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a grandson of Albert Clarence Sawyer and Albert was the first born to Amos Philander Sawyer and Elizabeth Jane Machamer.
Albert was born in Nemaha, County KS in 1872and died in Council Grove, KS 1964.
He had 12 siblings.Albert and my grandmother,Leand Myrtle Campmire, raised my younger brother and me after our mothers death. I was 18 months old and my brother 6 months old at the time. Albert was 65 years old at the time. At that point in his life I'm sure he wanted to have two babies to worry about, but they did a very good job.

I live in the Kansas City area, retired 6 years ago and then went into a small business but am about to get out of that during the next year.

Sorry to rambel on, I'll let you know if I find anything about Wliiaim the lost.

I am looking for information about the subject folks and or any of their relatives.

Amos was my great grandfather and my grandfather was Albert C. "Bert" Sawyer.

Albert was married to Myrtle Campmire and they had two sons, one of them being my father.

Any information or directions you might point me in for info. would be great.
