Robert Prettyman was my Great Great Great Grandfather but Elizabeth Pepper was my Great Great Great Grandmother. I found where my great grandfather fit in his father was Alfred Prettyman son of Robert and Elizabeth Pepper.

On Page 100 of my Prettyman book it says the Robert Prettyman, was born July 19, 1800, near Gerogetown, Deleware, the son of THOMAS and MARY and the brother of DR> PERRY, JOHN and JOSEPH. He died February 28, 1863 in Williamstown, WV., having lived most of his life in Woodsfield, OH. On February 11, 1823 he married Elizabeth Pepper, born May 19, 1803, died January 6, 1837. Robert married for a second time, Lydia Lasure who was my great grand mother.

1835 Sussex County, DE. m. Amelia Bevins.
Levin was son of Joshua Pepper d.1808 and
Elizabeth (McCauley) Pepper d.1811. Joshua
and Elizabeth Pepper were my 4th-great-grand-
parents. Their dau Anne m. William Prettyman.
They were buried on their farm, the family
cem is now within the town of Georgetown, DE.

My GGGG-Grandparents were William Wilkins and Sarah Ann Pepper from Sussex County Delaware.He was born cencus 1817 and she cencus 1829. They had a son James Burton Wilkins through which I am a desendant. Any imformation would be helpful.

I am looking for more information on Margaret Prettyman who married 1) Levin Milby, 2) Cannon Prettyman, and 3) William Toomey. I believe her father is William Prettyman.

m. before July 1777 Magdalen Prettyman, dau of William and
Sarah (Herring) Prettyman. Sarah's funeral
on 6 Jan 1817. William's will mentioned dau.
Peggy (Margaret)Prettyman, at that time (1819) the wife
of Cannon Prettyman. Also mentioned in that
will were son James Prettyman, grandson William Prettyman Milby
and 5 ch. of Levin Milby, dec'd, and dau. Betty, wife of
Ephraim Derickson, who had ch., names unknown.

Lydia Lasure was my gggrandmother through her son Jeremiah. Do you have any information on her? I have been able to find nothing other than her dates of birth and death. Do you know anything else about her? Thanks in advance. Gloria
