My father was Albert Anno Jr. born to Albert Anno Sr. and Ethel Rogen Mitchell. My father has a brother, William and three sisters, Charlotte, dixie and Patrica. He passed away in 1990. My Great grandfather was William Anno son of Alfred Anno and Fanny Parsons. Am looking for anything you can send me on the Anno Family including the Anno nationality. Also am looking for information on Ethel Rogen Mitchell Albert Sr.'s wife.

I have been researching the Anno family for a number of years. I would like to share information.

William Anno, Jr was born January 27, 1810 Mason County, Ky. He died October 4, 1839 in Mason County, Ky. His wife Mary Brewer was born May 23, 1809. She died April 18, 1872 in Weston, MO. William Anno and Mary Brewer purchased land in the Platte Purchase (Missouri) in 1839 which later became Platte County, MO. The family started for Missouri, but William became ill and they returned to Mason Co., KY. After Williams death, Mary and family moved to Missouri. There was another William and Mary Anno who moved to Missouri at the same time. They were cousins.

I came from William and Mary Ann (Bunn) Anno line. I have as far back as Joseph b. 1750--wife Esther-ch. Henry, John (my line), William Jr., Sarah, Elizabeth, and Rebecca-----Henry m. Elizabeth Arrowsmith, John m. Hannah Arrowsmith-- William Jr. m. Rebecca Pollard (is this your line?)--also m. Sarah Spurrier--- Sarah m. Richard Ritter---- Elizabeth m. Abraham Duzan---Rebecca m. Nathaniel Campbell. E-mail me at if this is connected with your family. I was raised in Forest City, Mo. We have heard of the Anno's in Weston but have never found out if we were relatives but some of the older ones in the family always thought there was a connection. Will be waiting for an answer. Dear Russell,
My grandfather was William Alfred Anno husband of Kathryn I. Bailey. He was the son of Alfred Anno and Fanny Parsons. I don't think William A. Was your great grandfather. William, the son of Alfred and Fanny had two brothers, Frank and James, and a sister, Mary Anno Aye. I think you are related to Frank. I will be happy to share anything I have on the Anno family with with you. Fran

Do you know the names of any of the children of Elizabeth Anno Abraham Duzan. I think I am related to Abraham Duzan, but can't tell for sure until I know the names of his children.

Hi Roger,
In my database, I have only one child listed for Abraham Duzan and Elizabeth Anno and that is a daughter, Lucinda F. Duzan born about 1806.

Thanks Mike for responding to my message. My Great-Great-Grandfather was William McCready. I found recently in The "Mason County, Kentucky Marriages" book in the State Library of Oregon, a William McCready who married a Rebecca Duzan 21 Nov 1829. Since I know that my Great-Grandfather John McCready was born in 1833 in Mason County, Kentucky, it seems this William McCready who married Rebecca Duzan must be his parents (I only knew for certain that William was his dad prior to looking in this marriage book -didn't know his mom's name). The 1830 federal census lists only one Duzan, a Abraham Duzan, living in Mason County, Kentucky. This made me wonder if he might be Rebecca Duzans father.

Mike, you listed an Elizabeth Duzan as one of the children of Abraham Duzan and Elizabeth Anno, could she be Rebecca Duzan who married William McCready? Do you have the date of birth for her?
