I am seeking information about the Brennan-Murray family, who lived in Kent County in the 1800's. They lived in the St. Louis de Kent area. Michael Brennan married Mary O'Leary in 1850 in Kent COunty. It seems that between 1861 and 1871 the family changed their surname to Murray. Michael Brennan died in 1872 and is buried in St. Louis de Kent. His widow, Mary O'Leary Brennan Murray and her children came to the Campbellton-Cross Point area in the 1880's, where they set up a lumber business on the Restigouche River.

My husband is related to this branch of the Murray family as well. I do have information on his branch of the family at home if you're still interested. We're in Campbellton now doing some more research.

I am the Great Grandson of Michael Brennan Murray, the son of Michael Brennan and Mary O'Leary. My Grandmother was Mary Christine Elizabeth (Bessie) Murray, who married Edward Boyd Price in Campbellton. My parents, Howard and Lois Price, still live in Campbellton.

John Brennan Murray of Richardsville was a brother of my Great Grandfather.

I have been working on the Brennan-Murray Family History since I was a teenager and I am now in my early 50's. My Family Tree Maker badly needs to be updated on all sides of the family, so that is something I hope to start this Fall. I need to go through all my paper copies and ensure they are in the FTM.

Would be happy to correspond with you and share some of the information I have accumlated over the years.
