COWAN Clark, Topeka KS late 1800s/early 1900s

Looking for information about the family of Clark Cowan. All I know about him is that he and his wife were born in Missouri, but were in Topeka by 1882, when they had their daughter, Elizabeth Belle Cowan.
Elizabeth was in Parker County, TX by November 1900, when she married Charles P. Burnside. Sometime between 1903-1920, Elizabeth and Charles divorced (I have not found a 1910 census for her yet), and she had married Mack Allmon by 1920.
Clark *may* have had another daughter that moved to Canada. I've seen information regarding one of Elizabeth's daughters visiting an aunt in Canada in 1960, but I don't know what side of the family that aunt was on.

I didn't find Clark. I assume he died before the 1900 Census. I'd contact the Topeka Genealogical Society, and ask if they have any early death info, obituaries or cemetery inventories.

Thanks so much for the link to the Topeka Genealogical Society! I checked their surname index, and there is a C.W. Cowan who died in 1898... I'll have to look into that. Very well could be Clark! I'll have to contact them, to see what other information they may have.

I've looked for an obituary for Elizabeth Belle, but have not found one as of yet. I know when and where she died, and have seen the death certificate, but so far no obit. The certificate just lists C.W. Cowan for her father's name, and that both parents were born in Missouri. Mother's name is "Not Known".

Edit: Ooh, and thanks for the 1910 Census info!!!!
