Thanks for the reply. As you could see Sarah Elizabeth was the only one whom I had no information on. I will try to e-mail you from the Family History Center OR bring my info home to e-mail you from here. Technically we are closing tomorrow for the 4th even though it will be the 5th. I told our FHC Director that I thought I would take the opportunity to work on my own lines. Do you have info on Sarah's (and Isaac's) families besides what I already posted and the info you submitted in this e-mail? If not would you like what I have? I don't think I put in all I have. I'll see what I do have that I haven't included yet.
I'm pretty certain I have more since I hadn't even put that Sarah Elizabeth had married a Sullins. I'm almost certain I have/had that somewhere cause the name Sullins sounds so familiar.
Tammy Lynn Smith King (grand daughter of George Ernest Melton, great grand daughter of David Crockett Melton, etc.)

My Melton line was also in Tn in the 1800s. Starting with my gg-grandfather and going back...

James Worley Melton b. 1878 in Anderson County, TN
Siblings OF James Worley, all born in Anderson County, TN
Harriet I Melton b 1866
Thomas J Melton b 1869
George W Melton b 1873
John W Melton b 1874
Mary J Melton B 1880
Sarah F Melton b 1888
William J Melton b 1889

Joel Melton (not Joel D Melton) b. 1827 in TN

Joel's father James Richard Melton b 1792 was from Virginia, and James Worely Melton moved on to KY but went back before his death in 1963. Joel had one brother listed on the 1850 Census, Alfred Melton b. 1815 in TN. This is as far as I have gotten. Joel and Alfred's mother is not on the census with them. I am still doing alot of research on this family line, but if anything comes up that might be useful for you, I'll send it your way.

Hi Samantha,

I am also related to this line. My paternal grandfather was the William you have listed - though his middle initial is actually 'W', not 'J'. He died long before I was born - so I am always looking for more info on his family. Are you related through Worley? I have a few old photos of Worley and his wife Carrie and other family members - though I never met them.

I would love to hear from you - and see if we can share any information.

Thank you for your time.
