The book on the descendents of Jacob Siverling and his wife Mary Ann Harriger has been published and you can still buy a copy.
This book's focus is the Siverling family in Luzerne, Armstrong, Clarion and Jefferson County, PA ...
It does NOT include the Crawford County Cousins, or the Wisconsin Siverlings...
Contact me if you would like a copy.
I received a message from cousin Anne Whitfield that the Youngstown Library has a new book; Dulgar, Gail Siverling "Jacob of Redbank: the Descendants of Jacob and Mary Ann (Harringer) Siverling".
Is it still available? Where from? How much?
Yes, copies are still available at 56$ list price. It is 461pg and hard bound.
Collaborators in the production of the book receive a substantial discount on their first order. I charge only 35$ to them. (And yes, Dawn, you qualify as a collaborator)
If you want some, just send a check to me at

Hi, Gail--I'm wondering if you are the "Gail" who provided family information for the Dingers that I just found on a Dinger website...
My great-grandparents were David Dinger and Eleanor Siverling. My grandparents were Charles Monroe Dinger and Sarah Prescott Corbett. My mother is Ruth Corbett Dinger. She met Eugene Alanson Barnard at Eastman School of Music and raised 3 children in southern New York state. I'm the oldest and live in Albany, NY. (By the way, my sister's middle name is Eleanor, named for Eleanor Siverling!!)
I have a lot of information about the Dingers, but nothing about the Siverlings. I'm very interested in knowing how you are related and would love to purchase a book!
So great to find you at last. The Barnard branch has eluded me until now!
Yes, I'm the Gail on the Dinger website.
I would LOVE to have anything you are willing to share on your family. The book is still available (for 35$ if you share your family info)
Eleanor Siverling is the younger sibling of my ancestor Abraham Siverling
