I have a ggg-grandmother, Eva Elisabeth RADEBACH who married Johann Christian STUTZMAN in 1766 in St. Michael's and Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Philadelphia, PA.
Christian and Elisabeth lived in Berks Co., PA in the Tulpehocken area.

I've never been able to locate Elisabeth's parents - she may be connected to the family you are seeking. Christian and Elisabeth had a son, Johann Adam, born 1787 and bapt. in Himmel's Lutheran Church of Northumberland Co., PA.

The name RADABACH appears in Palmyra, Lebanon Co., PA in the 1800's.

Good luck!

I was looking for Heinrich Reidenbach with the same birthplace and dates and his wife was Anna Appolonia Reigels They married in 1720 in Germany. We have his death Around 1762 in Berks Co. Pa. My father, Dale Brooks, has been researching this so I'm not sure if he's spoken with you. He made us a family book but he did not list anyone further back than this. There were 10 children, names were Johanne Adam, Henry, Maria Sarah, Johann Peter, Anna Catherine, Johann Jacob, Anna Maria, Johann George, Maria Margaretha. Johanne Adam moved to Hardy Co. W.Va. in 1806. If you have more information we would like to know more and share anything we have.

I'm not sure if this is at all related to my family that I am searching for...all I know is that my family changed the spelling of our name some time ago to Raudebaugh...I can date back to the 1800's with Peter Raudebaugh and Mary Catherine (Truex) Raudebaugh -- having a son named George. Any information would be helpful.

According to Johann Adam Reidenbach was born 4 November, 1725 and baptized on the 7th.

Using a Google search with the name Peter Reidenbach, I found a site in German, which I translate as:
Our Forefathers:
Mattheis Riehell, AKA Mattheis Riegel b.1602-1612; m. Maria Werner (dau of Jost Werner); d. 17 jan 1672 Becherbach
Hans Henrich Riehl AKA Henrich Riegel b. 1646; m. Susanna Becker (dau of Simon Becker) 9 Jan 1662
Hans Jacob Riegel AKA Johann Jacob Riegel b. 1670; m1 Anna Elisabeth Adami (dau of Hans Culman Adam and Anna Ursula Henrich) 18 Nov 1672
Anna Appolonia Riegel b. 11 Feb 1700; m. Johan Henrich Reidenbach (son of Perter Reidenbach) 2 Jan 1720
Their children:
Johann Matthaus Reidenbach b. 6 Oct 1721

Johann Adam Reidenbach b. 4 Nov 1725
Anna Catharina Reidenbach b. 19 Aug 1727

Anna Maria Reidenbach b. 3 Jan 1732
Anna Amelia Reidenbach b. 18 Jul 1734
Johann Goerg Reidenbach b. 1736

Johan Heinrich Reidenbach as Henry Reidenbach was one of the first settlers of Berks Co, PA. They came from Germany to England then to New York then PA.

See the Carlton/Primack Family site on to follow the descents of Anna Maria Reidenbach AKA Radabaugh. My husband is descended from her.

I am related to Solomon through his son John A. Raudebaugh and Solomon's second wife, Martha Bell. Do you know his mother, Elisabeth's, maiden name? It could be Hulhouser but I wonder if his brother Jacob was married to the Mary Eliz Hulhouser that we see listed on family trees. If you have any information, please let me know.
