Callaways and Watsons are no relation to me, however, A.J. Watson and a J.B. Calloway are listed as jurors in the newspaper article regarding the murder of my g g grandmother, Catherine (Kate) Murrills. Here is a paragraph where they are mentioned, if you would like to read the entire article, let me know:

""""We the jury find the deceased came to her death from being struck with some blunt instrument on the left side of the head, fracturing the skull and causing death, also the left shoulder being dislocated. The said wound caused by some person to this jury unknown.
(Signed)
A.H. Jewell
A.A. Sheddin
C. Nontz
J.G. Calloway
John McGuire
A.J. Watson
Approved : P.B. Dorlan
The general conclusion reached in regard to the affair is that the woman was brutally murdered, and probably worse treated prior to the murder.""""""

Gatsey Secludia Callaway is my great-great-grandmother. Her son James Spruell Watson is my great-grandfather. He died of the Spanish Influenza epidemic of 1918 and was buried on my grandmothers birthday October 18, 1918.
