Does this seem to be the family in 1880?

You can find other census records and vital records for free at the www.familysearch.org site.

In 1870 the family is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
in 1900 James, Elizabeth and Charles are in Green Bay, Brown County.
I would suggest you post a message on the Brown county board

You can find their graves here, including that of Ann Dickie, Elizabeth's Mother. I noticed there is a listing for a Harriet Hagerty in the same cemetery, who would be about the right age for James and Betsy's daughter.

Also, this is a good site to search for Wisconsin vital records

Many thanks for all the information. I only received a very brief out line of the family. It is interesting to see that Elizabeth's ( Betsey's) mother was living with them. My email is lindadillon@xtra.co.nz I live in Wanaka NZ. My list has Haggerty as a brother where in fact she married him and they had,Mildred,,Mercedes,Kerwin?
Regards Linda Dillon.

I believe this may be Mildred Hagerty, based on her birthdate in the social security death index, which matches the Wisconsin birth index (No proof yet, but an educated guess)

If you search "kerrwin hagerty" you will find him with his wife and children. He died in California.
