Does anyone know if there is a connection to an Emil Steiner born Feb 4 1898 in Rusko, Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic? He came to America in 1921 at the age of 23. He later became a Butcher at a Meat Market in Chicago. He died September 16, 1946 in Cook County Chicago Illinois. HIs mother was Johanna ? he had a Sister Francis and a brother John. Francis married John Serna and stayed ine Chicago area. John married Rose? and moved to Tomahawk Wisconsin. John is thought to have died from bone cancer.

Emil married Anna F Sindelar and they had Florence, Emil Jr, Ann Marie Steiner.

I don't know anything about the Steiners, but when I searched for "John Sindelar" I found this post. My grandfather, John Sindelar born 1880 in Czech, married a woman named Rose Voborsky and moved to Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Is the John you wrote about John Steiner or John Sindelar?

Sorry to say that your relative is not my Adalbert Steiner. Their family name was definitely Steiner in all the records. Thank you for your response anyway. Pat
