Trying to break down the brick wall of time and distance in locating my Romine(s) ancestors. Listed below is an abbreviated version of what I have.

Tennessee Romines bn 1818 Alabama or Tennessee died 1875 Missouri
Rhoda Adeline? Bn 1824 Tennessee died after 1880 could be in Arkansas

Thomas Lee Romines bn 1859 Arkansas died about 1938 Arkansas
Nancy Reynolds bn 1858 Tennessee died about 1907 Missouri

James Richard Romines bn 1884 Missouri died 1963 California buried in Arkansas
Em Zetta Miller bn 1887 Missouri died 1938 Arkansas

Ruby Icy Romines bn 1905 Missouri died 1982 California
Perry L Ingle bn 1905 Texas died Unknown in Unknown

Betty L Ingle bn 1935 Texas living
Ralph G. Avance bn 1929 Arkansas died 1975 California

Included in the 1850 census in the home of Tennessee Romines was a female named Ala Romines who I assume to be Tennessee Romines mother. Tennessee also had a brother that went by AJ Romines.
It as been suggested that the parents of Tennessee and AJ Romines are a Samuel Romine(s) bn between 1760 and 1770 possibly in Virginia and died between 1830 and 1840 in Tennessee, and Ala Sively, The Ala could be short for either Mahala which would fit with both Tennessee and AJ naming a daughter Mahala, or Alabama, Ala was born about 1788 in Tennessee and died after 1850 Also in Tennessee. Any help would be welcomed.

I also have a Romines line in which I am looking for links. My gggrandfather, Manford Benjamin Dalton (1824-1895) marries as his first? wife, Sarah Romines 14 May 1848 in Grainger County, Tenn. They both were born and raised there in Tenn. Benjamin was 24 and Sarah was 28 and had a child, Nancy who was five years old when they married. They move to Missouri where Sarah dies after 1860 (they are on a census in MO) leaving four daughters with Benjamin. Sandra
