Ricka Fogel/Vogel Keppel

Surnames: Keppel Vogel
She is my 3x grandmother, she lived in South Dayton and Fair plain. I am searching for any information on her birth or immigration. On the ship's manifest in German's to America, I see her husband and 3 children, but not her. I'm beyond stumped. Maybe if someone has access to her obituary, that'd be a start.
I would appreciate any and all help, suggestions or advice

bio says he was born 22 jan 1816, came here 7 sept 1853. he went to dayton in 1855. wed 3 june 1836. her birth 14 jan 1816. all the kids and dates and spouses and locations listed in this bio. it has 2 photos 2.
and i did the same as u found him, and the kids. i would go to the original, it could well be that she was on there and not transcribed, or they could not read it.

notes that there are omissions and errors.
national archives have them, but i think there would be another way.

I'm wondering if Frederika arrived earlier because she was pregnant, or later. Hmmmm, enquiring minds want to know . Maybe that's wishful thinking

more likely later. that is the general custom-dad and some kids go first to set up home and make money to send for mom and other kids, leaving mom at ome with her parents or some other relative of theirs. right now i am at fultonhistory.com -in the search box, put keppel w/20 dayton and hit boolean search to find more than u ever needed to know about your familyand their (very) social life!

the findagrave entry says rika died in germany? think that is an error? i think it was meant to be in the birth column. wonder who put it there and how they knew where she was born or was it a guess
BIRTH 14 Jan 1816
DEATH 6 Dec 1911 (aged 95)
Hirschberg, Saale-Orla-Kreis, Thüringen, Germany
BURIAL
Markhams German Lutheran Cemetery
Markhams, Cattaraugus County, New York
have you sent to dayton for her death cert?
alao, not to say she couldnt have been pregnant, but the next child arrived 9 months after they settled in erie, so i think she was just missed, or they could not read the entry.
maybe this person has some new info? he has an email

and have u seen this ebook? "citizens of Erie county were born across the sea, prominent among the
number being Henry M. Keppel, a thriving business man of Corry. A
native of Germany, he was born, November 13, 1837, in Hirschberg,
Thuringia, which was likewise the birthplace of his father, Karl Keppel.
His grandfather. Jacob Keppel, was a weaver by trade, and spent his
entire life of fifty-six years in Germany. "Another clue!!
here
Read the eBook A twentieth century history of Erie County ...
www.ebooksread.com/.../page-66-a-twentieth-century-history-o......
google it" he sailed with his wife and three children for America, em-
barking at Bremen, and after a long and wearysome journey of forty-
seven days landing in New York City, September 9, 1853. Proceeding
by rail to Buffalo, he lived there a year, ""married Henrietta Vogel, a native, also, of Hirschberg, Germany, and
she still lives on the home farm, being now ninety-three years of age" (if u know anything abt german names-she prob had 3 or 4 proper names, so henrietta or fredericka-all the same
findagrave says charles / karl only child. how do u know this?
