Your thread is a bit old, but I hope this info helps you. My GGrandfather (Benjamin Fisher) married Florence Alberta Mae Tribe. Her sister was Elizabeth J Tribe. My Grandfather has passed on to me a picture of his aunt's (mother's sister's) family. The picture is titled, "The Mosher Family" and includes:
(backrow l-r) Bert, Ruby (Taylor), Fred, ? La Roche
(frontrow l-r) Eddie, Elizabeth J Tribe (Mosher), Rufus, Doris, Gordie (Howard).

The 1901 Census for McIrvine Twp, Algoma District, Ontario includes the following Moshers:

Robert (b.1838), Charlotte, Rufus, Robert, and George Neal (Brother-in-Law),

Rufus D, (b.1853), Maria, Daniel, Cynthia C, Ellen M, Olive,

John B (b.1850), Sarah L

Keep in mind that the Census info regarding birthdates were notoriously wrong.

If you don't already have it check here

I believe Rufus and Elizabeth Tribe were living in Rainy River District (McIrvine Twp) at the time of the photo. The Fishers met the Tribes there anyways.

I just found this message and I don't know if it is still active or if anyone is monitoring replies, however I wanted to comment that if you are refering to a photograph of the Moshr family, I have an original. If my memory serves me correct, the members are:
back row: Bert, Ruby, Fred, Bill
front row: Ed(my father) Elizabeth, Rufus, Doris and Gordie

dana...thanks for your reply.
The only pict I can find off hand is one shoulder pic of ELizabeth "Tribe" Mosher about c1900 ,possibly earlier..her hair is up and there appears to be something holding it in place.
Her dress has horizontal ribbing across the bodice.

She was the wife of Rufus Mosher born 1877
I do not have death date for either one ...if you have and would care to share that would be great.

If you have any questions I will try to answer them...feel free..

Sorry, I don't know your name or if you are related to either the Mosher side or Triber side.
I am more than willing to share what I have.
Rufus and Elizabeth were my grandparents. My father was their youngest child Edward John.
Elizabeth Josephine Adelaide Tribe
b June 24, 1880 in Elora Ontario
d August 25, 1969 in Prince Albert Sask.
Rufus Mosher
b April 22, 1877 in Port Hope Ontario
d August 9, 1945 in Prince Albert Sask

They were married on Nov 18, 1903 in Rainy River , Ontario.

I have attached a family photograph. My father is in the front right.

In particular, I am trying to find out more information on Elizabeth's mother, Margaret Gordon. If you have anything you would like to share ( including photos) I would appreciate that. I can also be reached at my email address:

Robert was my ggrandfather. Rufus was my grandfather. His mother was Robert's second wife, Charlotte Neal. Daniel's mother was Mary Harriet Rose, Robert's first wife. If I can help out with any information, I am more than willing to try. If you have any photographs, I would like to get electronic copies.
