A daughter Lenetta Shertzer married William Jacobs of Yorkana, PA. Unable to connect with this Shertzer name? Any suggestions? Monica Seitz

Judy, I just happened to look myself up on the internet and found the name Shartzer and zoned in on it to see what it said. I stopped working on family geneology when our country took a turn for the worse and I became involved in the political scene. If you know who the Shartzer is who had a daughter to Mary Kauffman I would be overjoyed!!! Living in York County, I have not had too many encounters with Shartzers. This goes through my Jacobs line which I can share if it is of interest to you. Monica

I just ran across your message accidentally. My husband is descended from Fairy Belle Lynch Barcus, who was a sister to Jessie Lynch Shartzer. I would appreciate it if you could give me Jessie's middle name, date of marriage, place of marriage, date of death, location of death, and place of burial.

Also, do you have any information on their baby brother who died on December 24, 1899? I do not have his name.

And, I have no information on another sister, Hazel A. Lynch, who married a Lounsberry. She was born in 1901 and died in 1970 but that's all that I know.

Fairy Belle Lynch Barcus was my husband's grandmother. She was married to William Abram Barcus. Fairy and William had eight children. My husband's father is William Junior Barcus, the 7th of those eight. My husband is Larry Lee Barcus.

I don't know if I can help you with any of the information that you are searching for or not but I will be happy to try.

One more thing - If you would happen to know anything about the Lynch family at all. My husband thinks that there was Native American blood in the Lynch family. Do you know if that is true? We are just curious as to the percentage and which tribe. If you can help us at all, we thank you very much!!
