Four siblings from Gelderland, Netherlands, came to America 1847. Two of their nephews came later. Descendants went to Alto, WI, Sheboygan Co. WI, Milwaukee Co. WI, Sioux Co. Iowa, others to Washington. Spouses names REXWINKEL, HOFTIZER, HAGENS, SOERENS, TER BEEST, HEIDEMAN.
The four siblings were the children of Jan Wilm and Johanna (MELLENDIJK) BEERNINK; granchildren of Severijn & Hendrijka (BREUKELAAR or BRUKKELDER) BEERNINK; great-grandchildren of Hendrik & Jenneken (STEVENS) BEERNINK. They traveled from the family home at Varsseveld, Rentinks Camp, the Netherlands.

I've indexed an obituary for a Rev. Andrew Beernink (d. 1931) from Milwaukee's locally published German language newspapers. (I'm not a Beernink researcher)
