I've added my family tree of Milburns to the extent I know it. Hope it intersects with someone. If so, email me back please and let's lengthen our history. Thanks.

Charles is a family name for my line? Which Milburn are you?

My g.g. grandfather was Joseph Glenn Milburn
b. 2/18/1842 in Missouri.

Thank you, Leslie, for your email. I do not
think we are from the same branch. My section
of Milburns are rooted in Kentucky. I've put
what I know about my family tree online. My
grandfather was Albert Milburn, his father
was Joseph Milburn, his father was John
Milburn. Always interested to know more.

I've put it online in Ancestry. Please look it
over and if we have any linkages, please let
me know. Thanks!

Thanks for the call back.. In my researching I've been checking the Milburn clan in Green Co. Tn, and wondering if your John is the same as the one on the 1830 census there. He is among a lot of Milburns on the census, just on diff pages. Could they all be related? If you have been doing research on them, do you show a Nancy Milburn with 1 son 15/20. Im trying to find out if this is my Wm who came to Mo early 1830's and md Margaret Snodgrass. The 1850 census shows your John gone, as is Nancy's son. Appears they all came from Va. Would appreciate your ans. (I hope this doesn't go out twice, I'v been getting cut off)

I have passed your question along to our expert on our Milburns, Tom Sweeney and hopefully he will check it out and get us a reply back.

It seems hard to believe, esp. back then, that they would not be related somehow and coming from the same area. we will see what Tom thinks. He has our Milburn's back to 1605 in England.
