Ryan I would love to exchange info with you. What is your e-mail address? Mine is p2884@alltel.net. My father is Barnard Charles Dieringer. I can give some info and some pictures. I have contacted some one in Ohio that is a distance relative. I was going to help her fill in some people and send her pictures, but have too busy, maybe this will motivate me.

Hello,
I am looking for a Philip Dieringer who married Blanche Allen about 1890 in Washington state. She lived in Buckley originally but in her father's obit in 1896 she was said to live "over the mountain". Since I am not too familiar with small town Washington I have not been able to pin point where that might be. He must have died before 1900 since Blanche Dieringer remarried about 1900.

If you have any information on this family I would like to hear from you, Virginia Lee Cooke

I just wanted to let you know that my grandfather, Leo Dieringer, was born and raised in Wapakoneta, Ohio. He was born in 1903. I am certain that I am a distant relative of Bernard Charles. If I can get any information for you, please let me know.

Hi! My name is also Ryan Dieringer, from NYC. I did a bit of soul searching last may and traced our lineage to the small hamlet of Unterreichenbach in the Bavarian Forest of Germany. The name comes from somewhere in those parts.

I have information on the Dieringer family that came from Wurttemburg, west of Bavaria. This family came to western Virginian in the mid 1800's. Joseph Dieringer is the one who settled in the area.

Hi, my Dieringers from Altoberndorf, Schwarzwaldkreise, Wuertemburg, a large Catholic family. My ggrandmother was Emilie Dieringer, married Paul Sauter in NYC, in 1889. Sauters originally from Feckemhausen, in the Black Forest as well.
There are lots of Dieringer records on the LDS site, www.familysearch.com, baptisms from the Catholic Church in Altoberndorf, though I can't quite place the "Alt" unless it refers to the "old part" of Oberndorf.

Any clues? Suggestions? Thanks.

-Robert
