I am looking for relatives of Antonio Bevacqua and Sam Bevacqua (Bevak). My grandfather was Giuseppe Bevacqua and he came to America with his mother and father, Pasquale and Conchetta, and his two brothers, Sam and Antonio in the early 1900s. Sam Bevak settled in Indiana County, PA. Antonio Bevacqua settled in the Detroit, MI area.

my greatgrandfather is antonio bevacqua. came from calabria, born in 1881 died in 1971. he left my grandmother, her 2 sisters, and his wife (my greatgrandmother) in calabria. i know he remarried here and had more children, but my grandmother never looked into it. she moved here w/ my grandfather in the 1950's. her 2 sisters still live in calabria. please reply asap. i have so much more i need to say.

I doubt we are related. My grandfather Giuseppe and his two brothers Sal and Antonio came to the U.S. some time around 1902. They were born in Motta Santa Lucia. I do not know if they had other brothers but I am sure they probably did have some cousins who remained in Italy. Unfortunately, I only know their parents were Pasquale and Concetta.

My Great Grandfather was Antonio Bevacqua from Messina. He married Nicola Raspante from Catania (parents Frank Raspante and Tona D'Amico). Antonio came to America in 1894 and settled in Chicago.
