I have done considerable research on the Niedringhaus family from Blasheim,Westphalia, Germany and their emigration to St. Louis, Missouri in the 1850's. Related to the research is background on the St. Louis Stamping Company, N Bar N Ranch in Montana and the National Enameling and Stamping Company, Granite City, Illinois. I am always looking for new information.

My greatgrandfather, Wilhelm Hainrich Niepert came from Ger. 1880-81. I was told he came for work at National Enameling and Stamping Co. in Granite City, Il. Do believe my grandfather also worked there later. Would like info on Co. and names if you have any with dates. Name could have been spelled Neapart. You may email to Thanks Karen

I married Edward Landon Niedringhaus born in 1939 in St Louis, MO in 1966. He is the son of Edward Niedringhaus born in Creve Coeur, MO arround 1888. We now live in Chicago. We were often asked if we were the "Niedringhaus family from Granite City Steel". I never knew my father-in-law who died in 1965. My mother-in-law was not sure of the family connection. Does any one know what the relationship is? My father-in-law had 4 brothers; their names were George, Walter, Otto, and Henry. I would like to be able to share my son's heritage with him. His name is Thomas Landon Niedringhaus and he was born in 1967 in St. Louis, MO. Please contact me by e-mail.

Hello...I saw your post and am wondering if we are somehow talking about the same family.
My grandfather was Clarence Niedringhaus and he had brothers by the name of Otto, Henry, Walter and George. I am not sure about my grandfather's birthplace, but I know that they were from either Southern IL or St. Louis area. I will ask my mother for more information.

I am researching all of the "branches" in my family tree and my Great Grandmother- Ephersina Wilhelmina Bauer was married to a Louis Niedringhaus on 10/Mar/1910 in Brentwood, Missouri. I do not have any more information on him, but I do have all the stats on Great Grandma Sina.
If you have access to anything on him, please let me know as I hate "blanks" on my pages...LOL You know how That goes!
