I am trying to learn more about my Grandfather's family. He is Virgil Mullenax - he was born in Circlesville West Virginia - raised in Pendleton County - Father is Ona J. Mullenax. We currently have a little pice of property in Pocohonas County and I have been going through the Grave Yards looking for relatives and have seen the name Arborgast (sorry if I just spelled that wrong) I was wondering if the Mullenax you speak of is related to my grandfather?

I am looking for any information I can find on John Thomas Mulanax. The one I am looking for was born in Georgia around 1849.
He moved to Oklahoma and married America fickla and then Annie Lee. I'm not sure of the wife's last name. Anyway, my g-grandfather was Joseph Jackson and when he was young he left the family and we have no idea if there were brothers or sisters or not.
I have very little information on John but I would love to compare notes and see if they match. Thanks alot.

Not sure where My ancestors fit into this picture but I know they do. If someone could help me straighten things out I would really appreciate it. Margaret was the second wife of my 4g grandfather,John Cook Jr. Their daughter, Belinda, married Elmore Jackson Rohrbough. I'm not sure if Bird was Margaret's maiden name and Mullenax was a first husband, or if her maiden name was Mullinax, Any help would be welcome. Thanks Susan

Hi Bonnie, I wonder if you might be able to help solve a few pieces of my ancestral puzzle. My 4g grandmother was Margaret Ann Bird Mullenax Cook. I know she was John Cook's second wife. Perhaps he was also her second husband. I am assuming her maiden name was Bird and her first husband's name was Mullinax. This may not be correct. I found a Margaret Bird married to an Abraham Mullinax on the familysearch site but she was born in 1813 and my Margaret was born 12 March 1832, Monterey, Va. Any clues would be appreciated. Thanks, Susan
