I trace back 11 generations to Sebastian Liebhart, b. 1605 in Oggelsburen, Germany. His great-grandson Henry Liebhart, b. 1718, was first to come to America. Let's share any common info! szills@juno.com

My mothers maiden name was Liebhart. My Liebhart line starts with a Adam Liebhart who came to US early 1700. The family lived for many years in the York County Penn. area and then migrated west finally to Nebraska. My Line goes something like this. Louise, Alvey, Edward, George K., Henry, John, Henry, Adam. About 10 years ago I bought a manuscrip from George Caley from Delaware on our Liebhart Family History. It contains about 500 pages and is in three volumes of legal size paper.

Where does your family fit into this line?

Thank You

Looks like we are related! My line is Hans Adam, Henry, John, Henry, Daniel (brother to your George K.), Lizie, Florence Merrill, Merrill Auel, Barbara Auel, me. I also have info before Hans Adam - Sebastian Jr. and Sebastian Sr. I only knew back to Daniel until I found info at www.familysearch.com. If you think it's worthwhile for me to look at the manuscript, could you tell me how to do so? Thanks, Mike szills@juno.com

I get as far as John Henry Liebhart and then I
get very confused. Do you have a John Henry?
The area would be York, Pa or Crawford County.
Thanks, Barb

Do you have a John Henry Liebhart in your line.
Born around 1848 and married Nov. 15, 1866 in
York, Pa? My gg-granddad was Harry Miller
Liebhart.

Thanks

Barbara,

I put my Liebhart material in storage while I remodel my house.

My line is the George K. Liebhart and 2nd marriage to Caroline Stark. The Liebhart family from York Co., Penn. is very large.

My Line - Louise, Alvie, Edward, George K., John, Henry, Adam, Sabastian Jr., Sabastian etc.

Check http://www.familysearch.org/ That is the LDS family history site. I found a John Henry (#65) LIEBHART listed. The submitter was Beverly Liebhart Eagar, 91 West Richert Ave., Clovis, Calif. 93612.

She seems to have most of our LIEBHART line. I sure we are all connected to Adam LIEBHART who came into US about 1715 into PENN.

I hope this will help you. You can contact me directly at User103572@aol.com or

I have recently learned that my line of Lepard's is decended from an adam Liebhart, who came here in 1727.
Name: Adam Liebhart,
Ship: FRIENDSHIP OF BRISTOL
Captain: JOHN DAVIES
Place: ROTTERDAM
Date: OCT. 16, 1727
I have a suspicion this is your Adam. Would you like to email me at DSouva@aol.com, so that we can try to tie our lines?

Take care, you may be distant family!! :)
