Rose Siewert Jaeck is married to an unknown Jaeck male by 1916 in Wisconsin. I have very little information on this name as yet and it seems rather rare. The name is listed on the will of Rose's father who was living in Richfield, Washington County.

Does anyone have any kind of info on this family? I have seen it also spelled as Joeck, but Rose, herself, writes it very clearly as JAECK on the will.

Thank you.

The only info I have is from Chester Jaeck's obituary (see previous message). In there it also states that he was survived by special sister-in-law Geri Fabiszewski and was special brother-in-law of the late "Butch" Fabiszewski. I would assume they are his wife's siblings. I don't really know much, but if I find out anything else, I will let you know.

Absolutely none of your names listed were familiar to me. However, I have Jaeck ancestors who settled in Wisconsin in 1879 from Friedeberg, Kreis Kriedeberg, Brandenburg i.N. Prussia. They first came to Waukesha Co. and then moved to Rock Co., then Jefferson Co. and finally Walworth Co. I have not been able to find any other family members other than my G. Grandparents (who were the emigrants) and their children and direct descendents. What part of Wisconsin did your Jaeck family members live in? Do you know where they emigrated from?
I have found other people with the surname Jaeck but can't find a link to my Jaeck ancestors (who began spelling their name Yake soon after they arrived. I'd like to hear from you. Good luck.

Someone responded to you on 4/9 mentioning "Butch" Fabiszewski, I am his daughter. This is what I know, his mother was Martha and father was Anton. Anton's parents were Katherine and A. Martin. I have no information on a M. Agnes.

Surnames: Jaecke, Burow, Wagner, Wilke, Eggers, Barnes
My great, great grandmother was Augusta Jaecke. She came to the US in 1848 from Prussia (b 4 Jun 1839). She married Herman Burow in Hustisford (Dodge Co.) WI in 1859. I do not know where she lived from 1848 to 1859, but a couple of her children & other descendants lived in Waukesha at various times.

Her obituary and probate records state her name as Jaecke.

Any connection?
