I am looking for any information on who the parents of Henry Firestone are. Henry married Minerva Hossler 29 Oct 1874, New Berlin, Stark Co., OH.. Minerva may be a second wife but I cannot find any info other than their marriage.

I'm beginning to search out my ancestry. I have recently learned that New Berlin was changed to North Canton at about 1918. I remember seeing either an obituary or a marriage announcement in my great-grandmother Hossler's scrap book that I found after my mother died in 1990. I'll need to go back and search the info to try to find any particulars.

I was given the name Ronda Rae Tolson at birth in Stark County in 1951. I took my grandmother's name, Theresa, in 1972. I now live in the Greenville-Spartanburg area of SC.

My mother was Doris McClay Tolson
My grandmother was Theresa Hossler McClay.
Theresa Hossler was the daughter of Clyde Evard and Ella Mae (Masters) Hossler.

If you would like me to see if I have the info you're looking for in the news clippings I have please let me know. I can also be reached by e-mail at I sending this message from CompuServe since MSN is down today, but I am cancelling my membership with CompuServe today or tomorrow so I won't be able to be reached from the sending location. Also, I can be reached at work at 800-879-0023.

I look forward to hearing from you.

She was married to Henry Firestone. Her obituary lists 13 children and the place of her burial in North Canton. Please feel free to contact me at and I will share all the information I have with you.

Theresa Hossler was my great grandmother. She married and became Theresa McClay. Teri Nason contacted you back in November and I discovered that Teri is my dad's cousin. Anyway, Eva Mae Hossler was Theresa's mother. Eva's maiden name was Masters. I couldn't get ahold of Teri, and so am wondering if you can help me with this part of the family. Could Minerva Hossler have been Eva's sister? Any info/gedcom files you have would be greatly appreciated. I am creating a genealogy book of our family and would love to share info with you if interested. If Minerva and Eva Mae were related, that would probably make us distant cousins (probably 4th cousins). Theresa Hossler also had a son named Dwaine Richard (brother of Doris E McClay-Tolson). Dwaine Richard had a son named Bradley Allen McClay, whom is my father. Please contact me. My email is
