What I have and it is not much on the Marr family is: Lawrence Marr, son David marr, b. Aug 8, 1743, m. Sarah Holden, they both died in Ontario Canada, their daughter Margaret Marr is who I descend from, she married Andrew LeBarre in canada. Don't know how correct this is ,as I got it from a LeBarre book. The only thing I am sure of is Margaret.

Would appreciate any help you can give. thanks
Juliane

Charles, Have you visited the many Marr graves at the Milton Cemetary in Milton, PA? I am a descendant of Lawrence Marr's daughter Mary Elizabeth who married Zeboeth Brittain. My grandmother was Edith Alma Brittain. Debbie

I have visited Milton, but not the cemetary. I know the old Episcopal church and burying ground was on land donated by Congressman Alem Marr -sorting out the Alems is a mess- and that the family endowed a window in the new church along the river but have never seen it on short trips thru Milton. There are extensive Marr graves in Hidlay Lutheran - was Briarcreek Presbyterian Including Lawrence II and Wife Elizabeth Lee (2nd closest to sanctuary) Also many family in Lightstreet burying ground. Maybe site of old Presby Church, long since moved.

I am puzzled as I return to it. Do you want descendents or ancestors/ The descendents are numerous and well documented. For most of us, the wall is at Lawrence and his wife Elizabeth. If you truly want the descendents., let me know.
